It seems we have a small issue in the realm of DJ’ing. The advent of DJ technology has brought forth an entire new group of DJs, and its not always for the better. Let me preface this by saying that I use Serato and thoroughly enjoy the ability to take 10s of thousands of records with me at all times, but it has also given way to a lot of wack and garbage DJs who feel that since they have Serato they actually belong on the same stage with DJs who have put years of hard work, practice, music knowledge, studying their crowd, and overall dedication to this artform.

Malcolm, Martin, Elijah, Huey, Stokley, Marcus, even Jesse were the leaders of the new era of Blackfolk, armed with a sense of understanding that we were the ones chosen to fail in America and only WE can prevent that from happening. As roadblocks were put up to hold people back, these men were determined to fight the system any way possible until we got what was ours. The enemy then devised ways to turn us on one another, corrupted minds with drugs and promises of power beyond their own imagination and eventually smashed our revolution before it really began.
